PIER 300 Dublin Airport

DAA are seeking permission to increase the overall passenger capacity at Dublin Airport to 40+ million passengers per annum, along with a range of physical infrastructure works required to achieve the uplift.

RYAN+LAMB Architects are involved in the provision of new airside fixed links and nodes serving reconfigured stands to the northwest of Pier 300. Subsequent reconfiguration of the existing Pier 3 decagon building to accommodate the new fixed links is also required.

RYAN+LAMB Architects collaborated with Henry J.Lyons architects on the preparation of the Dublin Airport Capacity Development Plan 2 (CDP2). The development plan brief focussed primarily on the following areas within the terminal buildings:

  • Terminal 2 Check In

  • Terminal 1 & Terminal 2 Security

  • Customs & Border Protection (CBP)

  • Gates - Remote Operations

  • Pier 1/2, Pier 3 & Terminal 2 Central Immigration

Various Retail & Food + Beverage Projects at Dublin Airport

RYAN+LAMB Architects has had a presence at Dublin Airport designing and delivering retail and food & beverage units since 2013. We have worked airside and landside across both Terminals and all Piers.

We have delivered over 25 units for some of our clients that includes DAA, ARI, Victoria's Secret, Diageo, Jameson, WH Smith and Lagardere Travel Retail Group. For Select Service Partner (SSP) we have opened new concept brands such as The Mezz, The Fallow, The Lansdowne, Whiskey Bread, Gate Clock, Dubh, Tap N'Brew, Nineteen Forty, and Dublin Town 2 Go, alongside established brands like Cloud Picker (3 units), Burger King, Upper Crust, Starbucks (3 units) and Bird and Signet at Glasgow Airport.

This project entailed a full roof replacement that included enhancement measures to improve energy performance, material upgrades, services, lightning protection and safe access. The works were carried out adjacent to the VIP Platinum Services facility that remained in operation throughout the project.
