The forms are created through careful consideration of light and space whilst being respectful of existing houses and private open space.
Each mews house has two bedrooms with en suite shower rooms at first floor. The ground floor comprises an open plan living space arranged beside a functional linear ‘core’. This core incorporates entrance hall, toilet, storage, access and circulation to maximise the remaining space for living. Large extensive glazing to the front and rear maximises the natural light and creates a connection between interior and exterior. At first floor level opaque glazing and recessed pockets are used to provide natural lighting and avoid overlooking.
